Romanian products in the fight with Covid-19

Videoconference organized in the context of the economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, which aims to support the products manufactured in Romania and implicitly the companies that make such products in the idea of increasing the importance of the Romanian economy as a whole.

Such an initiative has beneficial effects on GDP, as well as on balancing the trade balance, cash flow and exchange rate. It also invests in the community and strengthens the economy.

Many Romanian consumers are attached to Romanian brands and products and we aim to strengthen and increase this feeling through the media coverage of the initiative. This can be done with Romanian products of comparable quality to those outside the country so that the consumer is satisfied and aware of his choice.

At the event we intend to discuss the measures taken by companies in the current crisis generated by the coronavirus epidemic to support Romanian products, but also those that can be taken in this regard at the national strategic level through government programs.

“Quality Romanian products are, in turn, a resource that we will promote much better and we will support significant investments in economic sectors of strategic interest, such as agriculture and food industry, energy security, but also health,” he said. President Klaus Iohannis, after a meeting with business representatives on economic recovery measures.

“We are preparing a plan for economic reconstruction on a sound basis that puts investment first. On investments, on innovation on increasing competitiveness “, announced the Prime Minister Ludovic Orban.

Romania must focus on encouraging domestic production and exports, and the economic recovery depends on stimulating foreign direct investment and exports, according to an analysis conducted by experts from Moneycorp Romania.
